2018 Retreat | Group 05 (Day 3) – Imitating Me First & You First – part 06: Sam and Linda On Having Kids

Linda talks about her ex-husband and that he didn't fulfill a promise to her to have kids, which is something she regrets. She struggles to see Sam and spends a lot of this conversation suffering alone. Sam realizes he can't think about what he wants if he's looking at her. The struggle to connect in this conversation + the topic is really painful to watch. I don't know that this has a place in the documentary, but it affected me to see the difference in Linda & Sam in this conversation from the way they are today.
