Sam Snider EP LCMHC, LCAS-A, NCC

There is a thread that runs through all the painful experiences we have as humans. Whether its depression, anxiety, loss, addiction, an existential crisis, or the myriad of other issues we face, these experiences of suffering all generate the same feeling of aloneness. These stark moments of aloneness are at the heart of our sorrow, and I have spent my life learning how to connect to people having these experiences so that they feel less alone. I feel really passionate about working with couples and groups as well as individuals.

Therapy is the great passion of my life. I have an endless curiosity about people, and I’ve never tired of hearing their stories. My approach to therapy involves helping people see what they previously couldn’t, and to guide them in gaining from their suffering. I lean on the modalities of emergence therapy, person centered therapy, and existential therapy.

If you are interested in a free consultation or scheduling a session, I encourage you to reach out to me via email or phone to see if we would be a good fit. I am also connected to many therapists I trust in the community so even if we aren’t the right fit I am happy to help assist you find someone who might be, so that you get the help you deserve.
